(COSTA MESA, April 29, 2009) – On Saturday, May 9, the Automobile Club of Southern California’s office parking lot at 3333 Fairview Road will function like a local dealership. From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. the lot will be filled with more than 100 late-model Enterprise pre-owned vehicles selling at discounted prices. Financing and auto insurance will be available on site during the sale.
The used car sale is part of the Auto Club’s 2009 Automotive Fair. The free fair is designed to help families and motorists drive safely and save money. The fair also features the Auto Club’s popular regional AAA Teen Driver Safety Fair, top NHRA Funny Car drivers from John Force Racing, speedometer testing, a travel show, traffic safety information and a Show Your Card & Save vendor exhibit.
“New car prices, now averaging more than $28,000, are making well-running pre-owned cars an increasingly attractive option for consumers,” said the Auto Club’s Car Buying Service Manager David Cavano. “Buyers can test drive a wide variety of vehicles to help them choose the best vehicle for their needs. Vehicles with safety features and that are considered good choices for teen-drivers are expected to be available at the sale.”
High quality luxury and economy cars and popular sedans will be sold at pre-arranged, haggle-free competitive prices. Rental car companies, like Enterprise, generally have a reputable stock of used cars since the vehicles are only driven 1-2 years before being offered for sale to consumers.
