Bob Holzer Automotive, Inc. from Santa Barbara was named today as Service Provider of the Year for outstanding service to members of the Automobile Club of Southern California at an event honoring its top independent roadside service providers. The Service Provider of the Year award is based on more than outstanding member service performance, including contributions to Auto Club programs and initiatives and community leadership.
The Auto Club also recognized 21 other service providers with the prestigious Five Diamond roadside service award for earning an “Excellent Rating” in three categories during 2015: overall satisfaction, service driver satisfaction and satisfaction with response time. These service providers comprise the top 6 percent of a network of 348 service providers in the 13 southern counties in the state.
A second award, the Service Pro award, was presented to 103 Auto Club roadside providers that exceeded standards in all measured areas for the entire year. Less than 30 percent of the stations qualified for the prestigious award.
In addition, Cory Teseniar of Kearny Mesa Towing in San Diego was honored as Technician of the Year for his high member satisfaction marks.
Service Pro honors were given at the Auto Club’s annual service awards luncheon held this year at the Warner Center Marriott in Woodland Hills. The theme of the awards luncheon was Exceeding Quality Expectations.
“The Auto Club has offered roadside assistance for more than 90 years. It continues to be one of the key reasons people join the Auto Club. Members expect a high level of service quality, and we count on our roadside providers to take care of members every day, in all sorts of weather and conditions,” said Auto Club Vice President of Automotive Services David Lang. “All of our contractors provide quality service, but each year, there are some that really stand out, earning high satisfaction scores with the professional, efficient, dedicated service they provided to Auto Club members.”
