Southern California’s world-famous theme parks again this year are offering Halloween-themed events – many of which can sell out in advance on the most popular weekend dates. The Automobile Club of Southern California is helping members to save on Halloween events and purchase tickets ahead of time so they can attend on their preferred date.

 

“Theme parks have embraced the Halloween holiday like never before in recent years, and we are pleased to offer our members a way to save when they visit local attractions for this special season,” said Pamela Shepherd, the Auto Club’s vice president for branch operations.

Aquarium of the Pacific's Scarium of the Pacific

 

October 24–25, 2015, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Discover the creatures lurking in the depths at the Aquarium of the Pacific’s sixteenth annual Scarium of the Pacific—a spooktacular educational Halloween event for the whole family. Enjoy special Halloween programs, including the annual children’s costume contest, the creepy coloring contest, face painting, magic shows, underwater pumpkin carving, spooky storytelling, kooky crafts, eerie animals in the Great Hall, and much more.

Knott's Spooky Farm

 

Weekends in October

Visit Knott’s new family friendly Halloween celebration, Knott’s Spooky Farm! Halloween fun spans the entire park and features trick-or-treating in Ghost Town and a maze filled with larger than life jack-o-lanterns in the Spooky Hollow Maze in Fiesta Village. Kids can make masquerading monster masks for a karaoke dance party in Boardwalk and dress up with the PEANUTS® gang for an interactive costume contest in Camp Snoopy! Knott’s Spooky Farm runs weekends October 3 – Halloween Day, and is included with regular park admission.

Knott’s Scary Farm is the largest most haunting Halloween experience in Southern California, with endless mazes and killer new surprises in 2015. New this year, investigate the unsettling haunted grounds of the infamous Hayden Hill Hospital in the groundbreaking new maze, PARANORMAL, INC. Escape the icy grasp of the chilling Snow Queen in The Dead of Winter. Enlist now and survive the zombie apocalypse while fighting an all-out war against the undead in the interactive experience, Special Ops: Infected - Patient Zero. Six Flags® Magic Mountain’s Fright Fest

The Biggest, Scariest Fright Fest Ever will unleash screams into the night! For 17 frightfully fun days, Six Flags Magic Mountain leaves no tombstone unturned to deliver what you want most…the ultimate scare factor. Fright Fest will include a total of seven electrifying mazes, seven dare-to-enter scare zones, and roaming zombies around every corner.
