Best AAA-Approved Auto Repair Facilities Receive Quality Service Awards

Thirty Southland vehicle repair shops have earned the Automobile Club of Southern California’s AAA Approved Auto Repair Quality Service Award for customer satisfaction and service quality.

 

The Quality Service Award honorees were selected from nearly 500-plus AAA Approved Auto Repair facilities in Southern California, which are independent businesses regularly inspected by the Auto Club. To receive an award, a repair shop must meet stringent Auto Club service standards for a consecutive two-year period:  no complaints from an Auto Club member, a 100  percent customer satisfaction rating during each annual survey and no facility deficiencies during either of the Auto Club’s detailed annual shop inspections or the bimonthly repair shop reviews.

 

“Automobiles are rolling computers that are technologically challenging to repair and maintain,” said the AAA Approved Auto Repair Program Development Manager David Skaien. “We’re proud to spotlight the ongoing dedication and effort necessary to provide exemplary customer service to motorists. These repair shops exceeded our program’s strict requirements for customer service and professional competence.”

 

Eleven Quality Service Award winners are located in Orange County; eight shops are based in the San Diego area.  Hontech leads the list with six Quality Service Awards earned by their repair facility, followed by Robert’s Auto Service in San Diego with five. The rest of the winners are spread across many Southern California communities, including Lawndale, Van Nuys, Ontario and Westlake Village.
