(SAN DIEGO, Dec. 8, 2011) – San Diego morning radio personality and world traveler Delana Bennett will host the Automobile Club of Southern California’s travel show on Saturday, Jan. 7 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Town & Country Hotel, 500 Hotel Circle North. Admission and parking are free and the show is open to both Auto Club members and non-members.
Those who attend the show are eligible to enter a drawing for a six-day, five-night trip for two to Maui valued at $4,000. RSVP by visiting any local Auto Club branch or by calling (800) 453-9604 and pressing option 4.
The AAA Travel Show will feature nearly two dozen tour, cruise and other travel providers, as well as experienced and knowledgeable AAA Travel agents. Consumers who book their trips at the show will receive special showtime offers such as a Visa® gift card of up to $100 with select packages, as well as discounts, upgrades or credits on their travel. Auto Club members qualify for additional member benefits on select travel packages.
Travelers can prepare for their journeys by visiting the show to watch luggage packing demonstrations, get travel tips, and enjoy live presentations from travel providers.
Longtime San Diego radio personality Bennett, who co-hosts the “AJ in the Morning” show on Star 94.1, will share her travel experiences with show attendees.
Westways Travel Editor Elizabeth Harryman and her husband and TravelSmart fellow columnist Paul Lasley will also provide their travel insights throughout the day.
