Auto Club-Sponsored Travel Show Offers Discounts, Information for Vacation Planning

(LOS ANGELES, Feb. 2, 2010) – The Automobile Club of Southern California is a presenting sponsor of the Los Angeles Times Travel & Adventure Show featuring exclusive deals on U.S. and international trips on Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 13 and 14, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
 
Auto Club members can save time and money by purchasing their show tickets for $7 – a $3 discount off the $10 regular admission price – ahead of time at Auto Club offices in the greater Los Angeles area. On the day of the show, Auto Club members can purchase tickets for $1 off the $10 admission by showing their Auto Club card.
 
The AAA Travel section of the show will feature more than a dozen tour, cruise and other travel providers, as well as experienced and knowledgeable AAA Travel agents. Consumers who book their trips at the show will receive special showtime offers providing discounts, upgrades or credits on their travel. Auto Club members qualify for additional member benefits on select travel packages.
 
Travelers can prepare for their journeys by visiting the show to browse through the AAA BookStore’s travel publications and enjoy live presentations from travel providers. Renowned world traveler and Westways Magazine Travel Editor Elizabeth Harryman will offer travel tips and experiences with her husband and travel partner, Paul Lasley.
