Refined cuisine and mini-massages to benefit charity – for a mere $8 – will be on tap in Costa Mesa on Saturday, Aug. 24 when the Celebrity Cruises gourmet food truck and spa “pop-up” visits the Automobile Club of Southern California’s Costa Mesa branch.
The Taste of Modern Luxury Culinary & Spa Tour is being made available to AAA members and non-members so they can learn about what to expect when they book a Celebrity voyage. Auto Club travel agents also will be available to answer questions about Celebrity Cruises or cruising in general.
The event will be held in the Costa Mesa branch parking lot, 3350 Harbor Blvd., from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Aug. 24.
For $8, guests can choose a lunch entree from a menu of items featured at Celebrity Cruise’s signature restaurants and a beverage, with half of the net proceeds going to benefit United Way Orange County. Guests will also have a choice of a complimentary neck or hand massage, provided by members of Celebrity’s AquaSpa® by Elemis® team.
“We are excited to host this event that will benefit United Way of Orange County and provide an opportunity to learn more about Celebrity Cruises’ offerings, itineraries, and amenities,” said Pamela Shepherd, the Auto Club’s vice president of branch operations. “Celebrity Cruises has been an Auto Club travel partner for years because we share the same values of exceptional service and quality.”
Auto Club members receive special discounts and/or benefits such as onboard credits when they book a Celebrity Cruises vacation through the AAA Travel Agency.
