“Camino Real Towing of Canoga Park Named Service Provider of the Year”
(ANAHEIM, May 11, 2007) — The Automobile Club of Southern California honored 24 independent towing station owners for outstanding customer service during 2006, including Camino Real Towing of Canoga Park, which was honored as Service Provider of the Year.
The Service Pro honors were given at the Auto Club’s 9th Annual Service Awards luncheon held at the Astor Classics Museum and Event Center in Anaheim today.
The theme of the awards luncheon this year was “The Road to Excellence.” Guest speaker was automotive drag racing legend Tom “The Mongoose” McEwen.
Service Pro awards are presented to Auto Club independent contract station owners that exceed standards in all measured areas for the entire year. The station with the highest overall measured performance receives the top award as the Service Provider of the Year.
“Earning Service Pro honors indicates that these companies are the best in their industry and the Auto Club is pleased to have them as the backbone of our network,” said David Lang, vice president of Automotive Services for the Auto Club. “In 2006, the Auto Club responded to 4.3 million calls from members in need and we salute the care and professionalism these independent contract station owners give each one of our members.”
The honorees were selected from 350 independent contract stations located in 13 Southern California counties. Only 7 percent of the stations qualified for the prestigious award.
