(CRENSHAW, Sept. 6, 2006) — The Automobile Club of Southern California’s Crenshaw district office will celebrate its third anniversary with a weekend celebration from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
Refreshments and giveaways are planned. Guests also are welcome to bring a copy of their insurance policy and get a comparison quote for AAA insurance at the event. The office, at 3739 S. Crenshaw Blvd. at Coliseum Street, serves 35,000 Auto Club members living and working in the Crenshaw Corridor and surrounding communities.
“The Crenshaw district office continues to grow and prosper. Our goal has always been to provide outstanding service and be a great asset to the community,” said the Auto Club District Manager George N. Burkhardt Jr., who also resides in the area.
The office offers insurance, travel and automotive services, including most vehicle-related DMV transactions. Office hours are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. The office phone number is (323) 421-1540. Auto Club members and the public can use AAA Travel services at the office to plan tours and cruises, make worldwide and domestic airline reservations, book hotels and car rentals and obtain rail tickets and foreign currency. International travel services include passport, visa and customs information; low-cost passport photos; International Driver’s Permits and Mexico automobile insurance. Members receive special travel benefits and discounts, including complimentary TourBooks, Trip Tiks, and maps for auto travel.
The new office includes experienced insurance sales professionals who can provide auto, watercraft, homeowners, life, umbrella and renters insurance services, according to Insurance Business Manager Tracy Williams-Campbell.
The Automobile Club of Southern California, the largest member of the AAA federation of motor clubs, has served members since 1900.
