(COSTA MESA, Feb. 11, 2010) – The Automobile Club of Southern California is planning to hire 100 sales professionals in the next three months to accommodate demand for its insurance policies. On Tuesday, Feb. 16, the Auto Club will host a recruiting fair to help fill 30 of those positions for inside sales.
The event will be held from 4 p.m to 7 p.m. at the Auto Club’s Administrative Offices, 3333 Fairview Road, Costa Mesa. Candidates should bring their professional resume and dress in business attire.
Previous experience in the insurance industry is not required, but is a plus. Work days may include evenings, weekends and holidays.
“The Auto Club is fortunate to be able to grow its insurance sales force at a time when new jobs are needed in the economy,” said Jim Philipp, the Auto Club’s vice president for human resources.
The positions offer paid training and insurance licensing. Benefits include medical, dental and vision insurance, as well as a 401k and pension plans.
