Southern California’s world-famous theme parks again this year are offering Halloween-themed events – many of which can sell out in advance on the most popular weekend dates. The Automobile Club of Southern California is helping members to save on Halloween events and purchase tickets ahead of time so they can attend on their preferred date.

“Theme parks have embraced the Halloween holiday like never before in recent years, and we are pleased to offer our members a way to save when they visit local attractions for this special season,” said Jon Carlew, manager of the Auto Club’s AAA Discounts and Rewards program.

The following local attractions are offering special member savings:

Aquarium of the Pacific’s Scarium of the Pacific

Oct. 14–15, 2017 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Discover the creatures lurking in the depths at the Aquarium of the Pacific’s eighteenth annual Scarium of the Pacific—a spooktacular educational Halloween event for the whole family. Enjoy special Halloween programs, including the annual children’s costume contest, the creepy coloring contest, magic shows, underwater pumpkin carving, spooky storytelling, and kooky crafts, and meet eerie animals in the Great Hall.


In Branch – Get up to 25% off the gate price of one-day tickets when you purchase your tickets at your local Auto Club branch.

Online – Save 10% off the gate price of one-day tickets when you purchase your tickets online.



Knott’s Spooky Farm

Weekends beginning Sept. 30, 2017

Celebrate the spooktacular Halloween season at Knott’s Spooky Farm, a family-friendly Halloween celebration geared towards families with kids ages 3-11. The daytime festival will return this year on weekends starting Sept. 30 through Oct. 29, and on Halloween Day. Admission to Knott's Spooky Farm is included with park admission

In Branch – Save up to $32 on tickets when purchased at your local Auto Club branch.

Online – Save on regular admission when you purchase online. Online orders are subject to processing fees.

At the Gate – Save 30% on regular admission when you present your valid Auto Club membership card at the Knott’s Berry Farm ticket window.



Knott’s Scary Farm

Sept. 21 – Oct. 31, 2017, select nights

Knott’s Scary Farm is the largest and most haunting Halloween experience in Southern California, with unimaginable scares and innovative thrills that can’t be found anywhere else. The fully transformed theme park encompasses 13 uniquely haunted mazes and attractions, sinister shows and more than 1,000 horrifying creatures lurking in the fog and hiding in every corner of the park.  Not recommended for children under 13. Select nights from September 21 through October 31.


In Branch – Save up to $41 on select nights when tickets are purchased at your local Auto Club branch.

LEGOLAND® California Resort

Saturday nights from Sept. 30 – Oct.28, 2017

Brick-or-Treat Party Nights at LEGOLAND® California Resort is back for more Halloween excitement. The entire Park is open after dark Saturday September 30, and every Saturday in October. The home of Halloween fun is filled with live entertainment, dancing, treat stations and lots more! There are new shows, Ghost Cruise, character meet and greets and more than one million pieces of candy ready for all of the hungry Brick or Treaters. Even SEA LIFE® aquarium will have treats and decorations. Come dressed up and enter our famous costume contest with three great categories: Best LEGO®, Best Group and Most Creative. Awesome Awaits at the Park…after dark! 

For a limited time, AAA Members can purchase a LEGOLAND California General Admission Resort Hopper Ticket for $85 that includes 1-Day admission to LEGOLAND California, SEA LIFE Aquarium, and LEGOLAND Water Park admission, PLUS admission to Brick-or-Treat Party Nights when visiting the Resort in conjunction with any event date 9/30, 10/7, 10/14, 10/21 or 10/28. Universal Studios® Hollywood's Halloween Horror Nights
