(CAMARILLO, Aug. 19, 2010) – The Automobile Club of Southern California will host a special member appreciation day during back-to-school shopping season on Saturday, Aug. 28 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Camarillo Premium Outlets, 740 E. Ventura Boulevard, Camarillo.
The first 100 Auto Club members to bring their membership card to the Auto Club display booth located at The Promenade at the Camarillo Premium Outlets, north of the movie theater will receive a free VIP souvenir tote bag.
Auto Club members are eligible for special savings at participating outlet stores with a VIP Coupon Book that will be available at the Auto Club booth. In addition, they can take advantage of the Auto Club discount with Gap/Baby Gap/Kids Gap Outlet and Banana Republic Factory Store, located at the outlet mall and now providing 10 percent member discounts on all merchandise, including sale items.
From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., two professional racecars will also be on display in The Promenade: the Auto Club-sponsored No. 77 Penske Racing Dodge Charger driven by Sam Hornish, Jr. in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, and the NHRA Funny Car driven by Robert Hight of John Force Racing, also sponsored by the Auto Club.
Members and non-members can sign up to be eligible for prize giveaways, and Auto Club representatives will be on hand to assist with travel or insurance questions, as well as provide information about the benefits of Auto Club membership.
Auto Club members can save every day when they shop at Camarillo Premium Outlets and other selected outlet malls throughout Southern California by presenting their membership card at the Customer Service Center to receive a special coupon book. Camarillo Premium Outlets offers a collection of 160 designer and name-brand outlet stores offering everyday savings of 25 percent to 65 percent.
